The beaches of Lake Maggiore between Luino and Laveno

In the medium Verbano (Lake Maggiore), between Luino and Laveno, there are many beaches where swimming, in addition to not have to pay anything, it is easy to park and there are lovely views.

Let’s start from Luino. Despite being a small town, at the end of the northern part of the lake front (that are making car-free and where you can make lovely walks) is the beach of Serenelle also known as Serenelle Beach. It is a private beach (the only one in the area) that offers deck chairs and umbrellas and evening shows, clearly in fine weather. If you want to save money, on the lakefront, in the center, there are fountains where to cool off in a swimsuit or send children overheated.

After the river Tresa you get to Germignaga where there is a park with fountains similar to that of Luino and nearby is the Boschettino, where the water is swimming.

Among Brezzo di Bedero and Porto Valtravaglia there are long pebble beaches; in some places the water is not very clean but in others it is classified as “excellent”; a few steps from the road you can park your car.

You get to Castelveccana offering three beaches: the beach of the Fornaci, the Lido and the beach of the Cinque Arcate (Five Arches) where you can find the sub to dive.
